It works really well, and we used silicone to stick it to our metal skinned door. When I needed some extra bits after I'd purchased the Ecoflap, I got sent them straight away. I was after a draight excluder for sometime to cover the letterbox hole in our brick built porch. Came across this product as it had the correct sized lip to enable it to be fixed to the brick wall. Prior to installation we had a very drafty porch and cold hallway. I installed the ecopflap using silicone as recommended to the brick fascia and it has worked wonders. No more draught and the hallway and landing is super warm. Product is worth every penny and does exactly what is sets out to do. Thank you. Received the Ecoflap and I am really impressed. I received the parcel the day after you received my order- and the flap proved very easy to fit (although I did use slightly longer screws than those you supplied). It's working well - I no longer have a cold draft from my front door. An additional benefit... it's much quieter than my old metal flap, which made me jump out of my skin every time it crashed back when the postman had been. I live in a wet and windy part of Scotland and much needed a solution to seal my draughty front external door victorian letterbox. I received the ecoflap this afternoon and fitted it immediately. Problem solved!, the ecoflap is airtight and it has stopped the ingress of wind and rain. I think this is a great piece of kit!.
